FTL Finance is a third-party consumer finance company that focuses on the home repair/remodeling market.  We strive to make understanding financing fun and stress free, all while educating vendors and prospective vendors on how they can grow their sales and margins.

We are looking for a closer, an influencer.  The position requires consistent follow-up, tenacity and a sales style that can intuitively handle vendor objections.

The District Sales Manager will meet daily with distributors/partners and vendors in the heating-ventilation-air conditioning and plumbing industries, to influence them use of the FTL Finance products, provide training on growing their business with consumer financing and increase the amount of business that the vendor is doing with FTL Finance.

Our team is very serious about growth, but have a lot of fun doing everything else.  This is a no suit and tie zone, where attitude is everything is meaningful.    We are looking for recent grads who possess strong critical thinking and sales behaviors, Inside Sales Reps with 1-2 years experience ready to transition to an outside role, retail sales closers wanting more flexibility but want to hunt and gather.

Opportunity Summary:

Responsible for growing the use FTL Finance and the funding of loans via FTL Finance within the assigned region to meet the funding plan: 

  • Face-to-face interaction with registered contractors within region to activate or increase their use of our financing product
  • Collaborate with distributors/partners to engage prospect contractors and promote our products and services
  • Accurately and succinctly deliver the benefits of FTL Finance to partners, distributors and contractors
  • Identify specific opportunities for growth within existing business, create a plan and implement that plan
  • Create and implement promotions with the distributor or directly with the contractor to drive results
  • Identify and participate in industry events to promote FTL Finance i.e. manufacturer events, trade shows, distributor/contractor events, associations
  • Provide ongoing live or web-based training to distributors and contractors, work with all levels/positions within the distributor
  • Provide field information and collaborate with Senior Market Manager and VP of Sales and Marketing to support the future goals and strategy of the region
